Timely Tips:

The search engine for this site, Webglimpse, is capable of handling relatively long phrases as well as words (for examples see Thesaurus).

Difficulties may be encountered if very complex chemical names are entered as search terms (e.g. 3-(4,5-dimethylthiazol-2-yl)-2,5-diphenyltetrazolium bromide). In cases such as this, using the "partial match" box to describe your search may be helpful.

An abbreviation for many words/phrases in the Thesaurus has been provided in parenthesis following the word/phrase [e.g. neutral red release (NRR)]. The word/phrase and/or the abbreviation (without the parenthesis) can be used as search terms. However, using the expression as is, [e.g. "neutral red release (NRR)"] will NOT work.

Trademark symbols (e.g Ô ) should not be used in your search expression.

Boolean operators: Webglimpse uses a semicolon (;) for the operator AND, and a comma (,) for the operator OR.

Examples of search expressions using these operators are as follows:

Irritation AND MTT (irritation;MTT)

Irritation OR MTT (irritation,MTT)

Remember not to include the parentheses in your search expression!
